Register for Policy and a Pint: The China Tradeoff
Thursday, July 10 Doors open 5:30 | Program 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Too often, media coverage of China is all bad - or all good. What's the real story? Join Ambassador Alan Holmer (Special Envoy for China and the Strategic Economic Dialogue, US Treasury), Tony Lorusso (Executive Director of the Minnesota Trade Office) and moderator Steve Seel from 89.3 The Current to talk about the complicated US-China trade relationships -- and what it means for us in Minnesota.
For more information and to register, click here.
And, after the main event, join the Citizens League for another Policy and a Pint after party. Come on over to the Red Room at the Loring Pasta Bar (just around the corner) to continue the conversation and learn more about the Citizens League.
The Policy and a Pint Election Year Series is presented by 89.3 The Current and the Citizens League and sponsored by Best Buy.

CitiZing!: Usability Testers Needed
CitiZing! will be the first ever civic networking platform and will make its debut in August. As we build this platform, we need your help with usability testing. This involves meeting us for about an hour to interact with either an online prototype or paper mock-up of the site to show us how you would go about performing certain tasks, like setting up a profile or finding a specific piece of information. Your feedback will help us build and tweak the site to be more user-friendly. Usability testers will be needed sometime between mid-July and mid-August.
Email Erin Sapp at erin@map150.org to volunteer or with any questions.
