In all seriousness though, if you are designing, bidding, or in the midst of installing seismic expansion joints requiring both a joint sealant or joint cover AND a fire blanket--then this is a game changer. With SJS-FR2 the 2-hour fire protection is built into the joint.

Installed entirely from the deck or floor above, no utility lifts or overhead holding labor are required.

Installation and continuity of the fire barrier is not interrupted by columns, or by under-slab obstructions from HVAC, electrical, plumbing or mechanical equipment.

No gutters or fire blankets are required.

Ideal for seismic joints in parking, stadium, and interior floors and decks, SJS-FR2 simultaeously handles car, pedestrian, material handling equipment, ADA and other loads while at the same time meeting life-safety requirements.

And, you get the assurance of ongoing UL and ULC certification and annual inspection of our manufacturing process.
