President's LetterMembership Open House - Bring a Guest
|

I'm moving to Stone Ridge, so I'll keep this short.
Our Membership Open House is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 and will
be followed by the monthly film and discussion. The format has expanded to include all members. As we
are without Co-Vice Presidents for Membership, a committee of Bette
Nitksy, Jean Semilof and Garnette
Arledge hand addressed invitations to all members. We hope you will bring a potential member to explore joining AAUW. At the very
least, enjoy a convivial tea at Vivi's with local people who support
advocacy, education and research for women and girls. Please RSVP to
845-704-2021 or to me at kaauw12401@gmail.com

New Calendar On-Line
|
We've switched our web calendar to Google Calendar. You can find it in the sidebar of the blog. You'll also find it if you google 'Kingston calendar,' AAUW calendar, or any variation.
Our Unofficial Passions site now has a Community Calendar, so, in addition to posting about your favorite events, we can add them to the calendar where they will stay in the sidebar until the event passes.
If you use Google calendar or Outlook you can integrate them both with your calendar. Ask a techie for help.

AAUW Dialog has developed into a wonderful blog. I read it regularly. Many of the posters are young AAUW fellows or interns, so they often bring a fresh style and viewpoint. I encourage you to add them to your RSS feed or click on the link to them in our blog.
