March 27- The Significance of a Pilgrimage
Across the ages, people of all cultures and religions have journeyed back to places that hold great meaning for them as a way to stay connected with their source.  In modern times, we continue to feel the pull to make these travels, helping us to be come inspired again and again by the very root of what we strive to practice in our lives. As Lao Tzu said, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." Where do your origins lie? What place does your soul long to get back to... or visit for the first time in person?

If this idea interests you check, out Postcards from the Soul from Yoga Journal contributor, Laurel Kallenbach. This article provides a really nice account of this whole idea of a pilgrimage and why people are making them in greater numbers than ever before.

P.S.--Did you know that Leslie and Kayci are organizing a trip to India in 2013--and you're invited? There will be a free informational session held here at the studio on Sunday, April 1st from 6:00pm-7:00pm, so come on by to see what they are planning. Please let us know if you'll attend!
