Finding Time
If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when will you have time to do it over? We are caught up in the fallacy that "We'll have more time later." The truth is that TIME is the most unrenewable resource in the world. I wonder how many books and how many seminars there are that try to teach us 'Time Management'. They started way back in the Old Testament as we see in Psalm 90 verse 12. Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. So how then should we spend our days? That is a question for each of us to answer. My advice is that we should "Live Intentionally." There is a danger that many of our minutes drain out of our day without us even noticing. The important thing is that we make conscious decisions of how we are going to spend our days. Time is precious and it should be used with planning and purpose.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 The reality of the shortness of time was brought home to us last week when our son, Paul, had a serious motorcycle accident. We are so very thankful and grateful that he has lived through it. He remains in a coma and we pray for his recovery. We invite you to read updates on his care and progress on the CaringBridge website if you would like. www.caringbridge.org/visit/paulrieth "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."
