- All 2011 race results can be viewed here. If you are unable to open the page (happening with certain versions of Internet Explorer), open in Firefox or Chrome and it will work.
- Our Carmel Highland Survivor Shirts were such a big hit that we sold out of them at the Expo! We have re-ordered more, and hope to have them available in about two weeks. At that time we will be updating our merchandise page with these and other clothing items.
- Be on the lookout for our Economic Impact Survey in your email. We appreciate you taking the time to fill this out as it will greatly help us provide key information to our local governments and businesses.
- We will be publishing a Virtual Results Book in June. Photos, stories, comments and full results will be available there.
- Our local media coverage was excellent. If you're a marathoner, relay captain or 21-Miler who lives outside of Monterey County you'll be receiving a copy of Monday's Monterey Herald newspaper with great articles and printed results. Also, you can view race videos and coverage at KSBW.com (type 'marathon' in the search bar). And, our own video crew has assembled a two-minute piece featuring many of our runners and music groups. - Registration for the 2012 Marathon to be held on April 29, 2012 will open on July 15, 2011 at 7:00 AM PST.
- Registration is currently open for our Half Marathon which is currently about 30% full. The price for this event will increase on June 1, so don't wait and end up paying more! Register online today at www.bigsurhalfmarathon.org for another beautiful run along the edge of the western world.
- We received a note from a participant about a lost piece of jewelry that she would like to return to its owner. If you were running in a skirt, and lost a sterling silver earring during the race, email sally@bsim.org
