2 marathons...2 coasts...13 days

Greetings!
We are touching base with all our B2B participants once again with several announcements. We hope your training is going well as there are less than three months until you take on the first part of the Challenge at Boston.

We are once more making an appeal to anyone who is registered for B2B and will not be able to participate.  Whether you didn't get registered for Boston, or you've suffered an injury that will prevent you from running, please let us know as we do have a wait list for this event.  If you don't plan on attending B2B, email sally@bsim.org.  We can either transfer you to the open marathon or roll over your entry to 2012.

We mentioned this in our first email to you, and are doing so again as this is important. Because we will be giving awards to the top five male and female combined time finishers at the awards ceremony, we will need you to email your Boston finish time to sally@bsim.org immediately following Boston in an hh:mm:ss format (particularly if you think you have a chance of placing). Times from both events will also be published in the Virtual Results Book after the race.  Remember...in order to pick-up your B2B bib race weekend, we'll need to know that you finished Boston.

We are once more planning on an article on Boston 2 Big Sur in the 2011 Official Race Program.  We'd like to know why you are taking on the Challenge, what your strategy is for completing  both marathons along with some general background information (how many marathons you've done, how long you've been running, etc.)  If you have a story that you think people would like to hear, please submit it as a Word doc of approximately 300 words or less to sally@bsim.org.  Include a photo as well (preferably 300 DPI).

We are really looking forward to seeing you at both Boston and Big Sur in 2011! Best of luck in your training, and be sure to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
