Race Weekend is Just Around the Corner!

Greetings!

The Big Sur Half Marathon, Run Forrest Run 5K, and JUST RUN! Just Kids 3K are now less than 2 weeks away! With that in mind, we have now published our Race Weekend Instructions for you to read. They contain important information about the Expo, packet pick-up, parking, corrals, wave starts and more. More Last Minute Notes

WE ARE A GREEN EVENT!
Our beautiful course runs next to the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, an ecologically sensitive habitat. We are providing our participants with compostable cups for water & Gatorade to enhance the sustainability of the event. If you use GU or other energy products, please deposit the container in a "sticky pocket" or in the trash cans provided at each aid station. Please don't drop them on the road between aid stations & do not discard them inside the compostable cups.

As part of our efforts to reduce the amount of paper printed and then tossed during race weekend, we will have a bank of computers at the Expo so you can look up your bib number if you don't know it. It will be faster for you if you look it up in advance (click HERE to get to the confirmation page, and once there, enter LAST NAME ONLY). We will also have laptops at the finish so that you can instantly look up your results after finishing the race. These will replace the traditional paper results that are posted race day.

And always...over the course of the weekend, remember to reduce, re-use and recycle!
