New High Recovery Reverse Osmosis System!

MRS600Reverse Osmosis (RO) is an advanced water treatment process that reduces dissolved minerals and impurities. However, conventional RO systems waste as much as 4 cups of water for each cup of purified water produced.

We are pleased to introduce a new environmentally responsible RO system, the MRS ENVI-RO 600 High Efficiency System from Everpure. This commercial grade system employs a tailored blending process that removes just the right amount of minerals for your particular application.

The new system provides high quality water while saving significant quantities of water and electric power. The system is ideal for hot beverage equipment such as coffee brewers, espresso machines, combi ovens and ice makers!

 DanaStats: Saltwater Intrusion into Groundwater
Groundwater is a significant source of freshwater. In fact, 30% of Canadians use groundwater as their primary source of freshwater. In coastal regions, however, excessive pumping of freshwater from wells may cause salty water from sea bed to seep into the freshwater aquifer, thereby increasing its salinity and rendering it inadequate for drinking. This article discusses the mechanism of saltwater intrusion and some of the mechanism used to deal with it.
 Technology: Microfiltration
MFMicrofiltration is an advanced treatment process that utilizes membrane fibres to remove contaminants from water. In addition to water purification, microfiltration is used in other applications such as food processing. This article gives a brief overview of the technology and its applications.
