ANNUAL ENROLLMENT IS ENDING -- MEMBERS MUST TAKE ACTION NOW TO REMAIN IN 80/20 PLAN!

The State Health Plan's Annual Enrollment will end on June 8. If you do not make a benefit election by June 8, you will be in the 70/30 Basic plan effective July 1, 2011, and remain there for the months of July and August. If your primary coverage is through Medicare and you were already on the 80/20 Standard plan, no action is necessary to remain on the same plan.

Due to changes in premiums, copays and deductibles going into effect September 1, 2011, the State Health Plan will conduct a follow-up enrollment in July. During this period, members will have the opportunity to change their plan elections and add eligible dependents. Plan members can expect to receive additional information regarding the follow-up enrollment via mail.

Enrollment elections made in July will be for September 1, 2011, and will not be retroactive to July 1, 2011. It is important to take action if you wish to enroll in the 80/20 Standard plan for the months of July and August.

Due to the timing, the State Health Plan will be unable to make any enrollment exceptions for members.
