Dependent Eligibility Verification Webinars
 As a reminder, the State Health Plan will conduct an eligibility verification of all dependents covered on the Plan beginning in July. Webinars will be conducted for the Health Benefits Representatives prior to the first mailing.
The webinars are tentatively scheduled for July 14 to July 21. To ensure that all HBRs have an opportunity to attend, several sessions will be offered throughout the week. Once these dates are finalized, you will receive an HBR Alert, in addition to invitations sent via e-mail. |

New E-mail Encryption Software for BCBSNC
As an added level of security, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) is implementing a change in the way they deliver e-mail containing sensitive and/or private data. Beginning May 26, all external recipients of BCBSNC SecureMail (encrypted e-mails) will be prompted to create an account and password before viewing their first secure e-mail. This is a first-time-only, quick and simple process. To retrieve any additional secure e-mails from BCBSNC, you will need to log in and enter the password you chose when the account was created.

Address for Submitting Remittance
This is a reminder that the premium payment address has changed. The correct address for submitting a remittance* is now:
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina

Charlotte, NC 28258-0031
It is important that you update your records to reflect the correct address to ensure that your payment is received and applied to your account promptly. Starting in June, payments that come to the old remittance address will be forwarded to the correct address for processing, which will result in a delay in the payment being posted.
*Please note: This remittance address does not apply to Charter Schools.
