July 2010

Karen & Rich Avery, Owners
 Greetings!

July is the Wildflower season in Ouray.  I always remain interested in scenic views but the wildflowers are best viewed up close and personal.  Bring your camera and plan to enjoy the sounds of crystaline clear waters crashing through the rocks and spashing the delicate flowers in a high  alpine basin.

You can enjoy the flowers on your own by taking one of the many hikes that exist in the Ouray area.  Blue Lakes is one of my favorites.  The lake provides a great respit for a picnic lunch and a swim for many four legged companions. You can also schedule a tour with one of the Jeep Tour Companies in Ouray.  Last year, I went over Black Bear Pass and had a ball.  Some may prefer a less challenging ride but everyone will marvel at the flowers!

Thanks as always for your continued support and patronage!
