Light for Spiritual Beings on a Human Journey
Dear Angeltouche Friends,
It has been a while since I sent my last newsletter. In fact, I have not sent a newsletter since December. I apologize for taking such a long break. The truth is, that I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and out of balance. Let me be clear, NOT unhappy, but out of control. My work schedule had become completely overwhelming! This was very difficult for me to adjust because I love what I do! I love my clients and I love teaching, truthfully, I even love the ER! But my spiritual life and my physical health were completely taken over by my emotional and mental energies. Over the last 6 weeks, I have adjusted my schedule, I have found my center and increased my meditation and retreat time, caught up with most of my clients (who have patiently waited for appointment times - thank you, you know who you are!), increased my exercise time and have lost 11 pounds. I am feeling much more balanced, content, peaceful and ready to move forward! I have learned that even though I am teaching these things, I can still allow myself to be too busy to practice them. I would like to say that I am "walking my talk" and believe I am now doing just that. I remind you to take stock of your energies. Remember that we are tri-part beings. We are spiritual, mental/emotional and physical beings. If we ignore any or (heaven help us!) all of these aspects of self, we do become unbalanced and a bit wobbly! As we go forward into the new year with new hopes and new dreams, let us all take the time to do a quick inventory on our energies expended and energies refreshed. Let balance be the theme that empowers us to be the very best selves we can be, enabling us to offer our best gifts to our families, our friends, our planet and ourselves. We each have a sacred path and purpose and we owe it to ourselves to follow that divine calling.
This is what I am hearing from our Angels for February ~
SWEET SURRENDER ~ Our angels want us know that we do not stand alone and cannot possibly handle, fix, and control every issue that faces us. In face we cannot even exist in a healthy manner by existing as isolated and solitary individuals. It is imperative that we learn to surrender those burdens, worries, problems, and cares that threaten to overwhelm us, to our Angels for our own peace and perspective. Allow your Angels to do what they were created to do, that is to be the hands of a loving Creator - nurturing, supporting and assisting us on the journey. Surrender is not a sign of weakness or not caring, it is caring enough to do the best we can and then releasing the situation for divine intervention to insure the best possible outcome. It is time to lay our burdens down, knowing and trusting that our angels will pick them up and raise them to a higher plane for divine intervention.
ASK YOUR ANGELS ~ Have you asked your angels to help you lately? We have been created in the image of the Creator with free will over our actions and decisions. Because of this amazing freedom and power, unless it is a matter of life and death before our time, our angels love and support us, but wait for an invitation to take an active role in assisting and guiding us in every area and at every moment of our lives. Do you have an area of your life where you could really use a little assistance? Could you use some guidance, a little peace of mind or a major boost right now? Then the question is, "Have you asked your angels to help you with that?" Your angels are just waiting for the word, the thought or the prayer. It is polite to ask, you are worthy of asking and your angels are just waiting for you to open the door to their heavenly assistance. Ask your angels now!
ART OF APPRECIATION ~ Are you remembering to practice the fine art of appreciation? There is something to be appreciated in each and every person and circumstance no matter how bleak, dark or heavy outward appearances may be. By developing our skills as a loving, spiritual being, one who is expert at appreciating the world around us, we allow ourselves to see that all is well in our lives. All is as it should be. We have no reason to panic, fuss and worry. We are learning exactly the right lessons at the right time to move forward on our divine path with our divine purpose. Step back and survey your situation with an eye for appreciation and know that all is well. There is so much more to sight, than the physical eye can see. Remember to see, hear, know and appreciate with your heart, just as our Angels love and appreciate us!
And last but not least... our Angels ask us to remember to do a bit of UNCONDITIONAL GIVING. How often do you truly perform an act of unconditional giving? Do you expect a bit of gratitude, a reciprocal gesture, maybe just an acknowledgment of thanks for the things you do? This week try to do at least one kind, thoughtful or caring act without any strings attached. Be generous for the sake of being generous. Be kind for no special reason. Pay it forward. You have the ability to affect yourself and others in the most profound of ways, just by this simple act. Your angels say that by practicing unconditional giving you will change the face of the world. The implications for this type of behavior are staggering. Take a hand in being the divine gift of the Creator that you are truly meant to be and start practicing unconditional giving today. You have the ability to bring joy, peace and harmony to the world, one moment, one person at time. You are a tremendously powerful being!
That's what I'm hearing for February. Remember, every day is a gift!

Light Beyond loss is dedicated to providing grief support to all who suffer the loss of a loved one. I learned of Light Beyond Loss from Lisa Venn who is one of the co-founders of this wonderful organiztion. Lisa came and assisted at one of my Walking the Lightworkers Way workshops, some of you may remember her. She and her co-healers at Light Beyond Loss are offering a wonderful service. If you or anyone you know is suffering with the grief of loosing a loved one, please pass this information along.
