Never underestimate the power of an effective mentoring program to change the life of a student. It is often the pivotal moment when a connection is made with a student to strengthen their classroom performance. It takes a caliber of extraordinary people who are willing to invest time with students to provide encouragement as well as guidance. Mentoring provides the care and support that can enrich a student's life in a school setting, home or community. Research consistently shows that having a mentoring relationship enhances school engagement supporting an academic path to becoming college and career ready. Click here to read more.
