FALL INFORMATION

RAIN & MAKEUP PRACTICE Procedure
RAIN:
- If there is a question of rainout - please call the pro shop at 612-2420 thirty minutes before lesson time. If the line is busy - please call back.
- We do not call off practice earlier than this unless it is a CERTAIN rainout. This is because our weather is unpredictable! We will hold practice if AT ALL possible. We do the best we can to always make the best decision for our students.
- IF a rainout is CERTAIN and we know this well in advance of practice - an email may be sent...but not always so please do not rely on email for this.
MAKEUP TIME:
- Students should not come on alternate days to make up for missed time.
- We will schedule many additional practices throughout the semester that will be open to ALL students to make up for missed time due to illness, travel, rain, school, etc.
- You may use all of this time as an opportunity to get extra - over and above your program option.

COMMUNICATION
We value all of our students and want not only for them to improve but also to have a great experience! Please, please communicate problems and let us answer your questions. Most often, any situation can be resolved through communication. The best way to do this is to send an email to Johnny at jwahlborg@ymcabatonrouge.org. Or, talk to him after practice is over. We welcome your concerns and questions - always!
Note: The first couple of weeks of the new semester are always a little hectic. It takes time to fully organize our players the way that will be most effective. Thank you for your patience during this time as new students and staff join us. Please let us know if there are any concerns you have.
