A new season of Aztec Rugby is upon us and this year promises to be a great one. The team returns 12 out of 15 starters from last years #4 ranked team, has a bumper crop of new recruits and will compete in a more competitive remodeled Southern California League. Additionally, the year of 2008 marks a special milestone for the team - 50 years of Aztec Rugby!!
With this special occasion at hand the Aztec Rugby Foundation is pleased to announce that it will host the 50 Year Aztec Rugby Reunion Gala. Don't miss this opportunity to attend this once in a life time event. (See below for all the details).

50 Year Team Reunion
Aztec Rugby now enters it 50th year of competition. Over the past years Aztec Rugby has dominated the Southern California scene, placed it's mark on the Pacific Coast and USA Teams and proudly boasts one National Championship.
To honor the 50 year milestone and to relive the accomplishments of your playing days the Aztec Rugby Foundation is hosting the 50 Year Reunion Celebration Gala. The event will take place in combination with the annual alumni weekend. The date for this event is scheduled for Thursday evening October 23rd. The Gala will be held at the Bahia Hotel, on Mission Bay from 6:30 - 10:00.
The price of the event is $100.00 and includes includes dinner, entertainment and the opportunity to recount those countless memories associated with Aztec Rugby. An estimated $35.00 of your contribution will be treated as tax deductible.
The Foundation has also secured a block of rooms at the Bahia for the low rate of $99.00 per night. Please contact the Bahia Hotel directly if you are interested in staying there at: 858-488-0551.
Following the gala night, the students will host their annual golf tournament on Friday and on Saturday the annual alumni match. The students have revived their winning ways over the last two years and are looking for more wins to start off the year.
