Greetings!

Hello and thank you for your continued interest in my efforts in Annapolis on behalf of my constituents in Frederick's District 3A. I hope you are enjoying your Summer!

As we move into the campaign season, I plan to use this newsletter to provide updates on my campaign to be re-elected to the House of Delegates, 3A, along with information on important Democratic events, new voter provisions, and many other newsworthy items to keep you up-to-date for the next few months.

Hopefully, after the November 2 General Election, we will return to our original newsletter mission of providing information on our legislative goals, bill summaries and updates, and the latest news out of Annapolis affecting the citizens of Frederick and the State of Maryland.

The Yard Signs Are In!!!

Our newly re-designed yard signs are now in and can be put

up in your yard or at your place of business as of August 1.

You can do-it-yourself or we'll be happy to do it for you!

Early Voting for Frederick County Residents!

Registered voters in Frederick County will be allowed to vote early before the 2010 Primary and General Election Days. The new voting process resulted from voter approval in 2008 of a constitutional amendment that requires early voting in Maryland starting with the 2010 elections.

WHEN: 10am - 8pm Daily

Primary Election Early Voting Dates: September 3-9

General Election Early Voting Dates: October 22-28

*The Voting Center will be closed on Sundays.

The Galen Clagett Picnic Fundraiser

Don't forget to mark your calendars for our Annual Galen Clagett Picnic Fundraiser at the beautiful Ceresville Pavilion! Come and spend some time with Galen at this idyllic setting by the scenic Monocacy River.

There'll be delicious food, terrific entertainment, and a host of elected officials to talk to! Please join us for all of the fun on Sunday, September 26 from 4-7 pm. Tickets are $50.
