The URL is staying the same, but www.unitedwayracine.org looks very different today. The newly redesigned website was developed by local company, Image Management and features expanded content as well as an updated appearance.
The navigation of the site has changed dramatically in order to simplify the search process. The Our Work section lists all the efforts of United Way, like the annual investment process, Advancing Family Assets, special funding and resources. All of the campaign information is available at the touch of a button in the Our Campaign section and our directory of Partner Providers is located in the Our Partners area.
Displayed prominently on the homepage, is a rotating slider featuring images from recent activities and boxes showcasing four of United Way's initiatives. The homepage also features a blog highlighting recent news, upcoming events and a ticker showing the dollars saved locally from the FamilyWize prescription discount card. Additional new features include a search tool, an RSS feed and a ShareThis widget.
We are very excited about the new website. United Way has a wealth of information and many community resources. Now, we can be sure that individuals will be able to find them. The site is more interactive, easier to navigate, and it's wrapped in a contemporary package.
