Every year, three CTF Director positions are up for election. The application is available here.
The election takes place at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April. To be eligible for the election, we must receive your application more than 24 hours before the AGM. In reality, we would prefer to have your application back to us before Feb. 24th. This way we will have time to include the appropriate information in our AGM Delegate Booklets.
The Athletes' Council is looking for 4 new members to be on their committee.
The Athletes' Council is constituted under the CTF National Bylaws to provide a forum for Team Canada and general membership athletes to discuss issues relevant to athletes and the recognition of the game as a sport domestically and internationally. Specifically, the Council:
Contributes to the development of policy and programs of the CTF
Considers and takes athlete related issues forward to the relevant function unit of the CTF, and
Ensures that international programs and policies of the CTF are athlete focused
Elects the Council member who will serve as Director on the CTF Board of Directors.
Elects the CTF representatives and alternates to the COC Athletes Advisory Council.
