Rites of Spring
Greetings!
Upon returning home from a conference in Frisco, CO last Thursday, I had the opportunity to mow the grass in our yard for the first time this year...an event I look forward to as an indication spring has arrived in Steamboat Springs. That doesn't mean, however, that it is done snowing. The last day it snowed in town last year was June 11...the day of our annual REALTORS Golf Tournament.
The conference I attended last week was the Colorado Exclusive Buyer Agents Association's annual convention. Exclusive Buyer Agents (EBA's) from throughout the state convene for the two day conference. This year's topic was "Social Networking" and our guest presenter was excellent in teaching old dogs new tricks. Please keep an eye open in the near future on my web site to see the exciting new ideas revealed at the conference.
Not only do I enjoy learning new ideas during the conference, but also the camaraderie from being around other successful EBA's and hearing their stories on how our special services have helped and are appreciated by our clients |

A Surprising Steamboat Residential Market Study
During last week's CEBAA conference, an EBA from Boulder, who enjoys researching statistical data for his market area as much as I do, presented some pretty revealing information about his market regarding residential real estate values. That discussion inspired me to take a similar look at the Steamboat market. Although the research took time to compile, the results are very worthwhile and surprising. Even though we are in tough economic times, this month's newsletter shows how resilient the Steamboat market is, and I doubt many markets throughout the country posted similar results.
If you are considering the purchase of a single family home, town home or condominium in Steamboat Springs, you need to read this month's newsletter by clicking here. |
The Bottom of the Market?
I may be sticking my neck out, but I've made my own predictions of when the bottom of the market might occur, as well as where the best opportunities exist in the current climate. Of course I have based these predictions off of my research and 26 years of resort real estate experience, not from hype and conjecture. If you would like to know when might be the best time is to buy and why, please email me for my report,
The Inside Edge.

Steamboat Best Buys!
As an exclusive buyer's broker, I am committed to keeping my clients up-to-date on properties that represent the best opportunities in the market today. The properties below represent, through my research, some of those properties.
Please remember I do not accept listings. Therefore, these selections have been compiled from over 2,000 properties for sale (advertised or unadvertised) via REALTORS, owners and developers. Properties are selected objectively and without bias, based on their existing merits and not factored in is the potential for further negotiation. To better understand each property, I have identified any misgivings as well as features, as every property has certain nuances that I make clients aware of. Best Buy properties have been selected due to price, location, scarcity, quality, rental income and investment potential.
If you would like additional information on any of these, or if you would like me to conduct a personal Best Buy search with the features and benefits of your ideal property, please contact me.

There has been some positive news about the economy showing signs of a recovery. We all hope that is true. Should that be the case, the bottom of the real estate market could be upon us. I have recently assisted a number of clients make some outstanding purchases. It would be my pleasure to talk to you about the opportunities that still may exist.
