Greetings!
Hello from Akron, Ohio!
I may be away, but the networking goes on! I'm missing a GREAT speaker Thursday - so you all have to go & tell me all about Stephanie Dalfonzo!
I'm out here in Akron for the World Championships for Soap Box Derby Racing ( www.aasbd.com) here in Akron- my son & my nephew are both competing. There are advertising specialty items EVERYWHERE out here, it's like I'm still back home in Miracle Graphic's showroom! 500 racers are here with their families and they bring promotional items from their hometowns to trade & we all trade custom photo buttons with pictures of the racing kids (known here as "champs"). Miracle Graphics made custom 2 1/4" and 1" buttons for many of the racers from Connecticut, and I think ours look the best! Wearable items are the most coveted items for trading this year, especially hats because one size fits all. Hats are good that way - ask Miracle Mandy ( mandy@miracletime.com) about ordering some for your event or business.
If you've come in the past, thank you for attending Networks Anonymous events, the Luncheon or After-Hours Networking Events with no rules for positive people that want to have a great time, a great lunch, a great Speaker, and meet new contacts!!!

News from Miracle Graphics! Our wearable department had a very interesting addition last week! We have a new, more advanced vinyl cutter for heat-transfer shirt decoration, truck lettering, window lettering, and more...
We are also launching a new decoration method very soon involving CUSTOM RHINESTONES! These can stand on their own as awesome shirts, sweatshirts, etc or be used to enhance silkscreen designs. Wow!
I'm out here in Akron, Ohio, with the first shirts we made with the rhinestones & nailheads (small shiny metal domes affixed onto the fabric) and they are a big hit. They really stand out because they are so diffferent. Can't wait to show you all! Photos will follow soon.

She has the voice of an angel.... Stephanie will give us an introduction to hypnosis and demonstrate Emotional Freedom Techniques."

Agencies throughout Western Connecticut that provide emergency basic needs are in dire need of help themselves. Requests for emergency services have increased dramatically - by 40% in some cases - while donations have decreased.
United Way of Western Connecticut has launched the Take Five to Give 5 campaign to help these programs continue to serve local families who are in need of emergency food, shelter, clothing or healthcare assistance.
