MIRACLE GRAPHICS TAKES ON WILD RIVER
As seen in The Newtown Bee, Pg B-18, Friday December 12, 2008:
Local Screen Printer Acquired by Miracle Graphics
BETHEL - Miracle Graphics & Marketing, LLC, printing and promotional products specialists, recently acquired Wild River Screen Printing of Newtown from Paul and Meredith Ledney who started the business in 2003. The purchase included production equipment and graphic & client files, expanding the company's screening and graphic design departments to augment the many services Miracle Graphics has provided its customers for more than 30 years.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to expand the business," said Sarah Gallo Becker, marketing specialist, artist, designer, idea generator and owner of Miracle Graphics & Marketing. "We're just bigger now," she adds. Becker has transformed the humble beginnings of Rapid Graphics, founded in 1976, from an offset printing and copy shop to a marketing Mecca of 850,000+ promotional items and color digital printing.
"It really was a group effort and amiable transition," said Becker referring to the turn of events that lead to the recent buy out. "Paul certainly knows silkscreen production well," claims Becker. Plans for the future include Paul continuing his involvement as a production and sales consultant for Miracle Graphics.
Becker, a Newtown native now living in Danbury, acquired the commercial printing business in 1995 and operated it as Miracle Printing & Design in Danbury before establishing Miracle Graphics & Marketing, LLC in Bethel three years later. With contributions from creative staff, or "Miracle Workers," including key employee Amanda Riedinger, the company has been rebuilt implementing new products, staff training and state-of-the art digital equipment. With the recent expansion of it's silk-screening department Miracle continues to grow.
Through creative graphic design and innovative uses of materials, Miracle's main focus continues to be mastering the art of improving all of a customers' printed materials and maintaining a consistent look for the brand or company. As the business grew, so did its services, including color printing, digital copying, logo/branding development, promotional items, advertising specialties, event promotion, trade show items, business gifts, self-promotion tools, employee loyalty programs, print & copy solutions, direct mail planning, creative solutions, photography, web design/hosting, bindery finishing and now, an expansion of their embroidery and in-house screening departments.
Miracle Graphics and Marketing's production facilities are located in Bethel and New Milford with plans underway to open a facility in Brookfield to accommodate the company's expansion. For more information on the many services Miracle Graphics has to offer call 203-744-4212 or visit www.miracletime.com.

~~~ Thank YOU Laura! ~ Sarah Becker (see below) ~~~
To the Editor: The Newtown Choral Society played to an enthusiastic crowd at its holiday concert, "Songs of Celebration," last Sunday at The Meeting House. Our hearty thanks go to Reverend Robert Tarullo and the Presbyterian Community Church for sharing their time at The Meeting House. John Mucci, our director, created a challenging program, including the melodic Der Stern Von Bethlehem. We were honored to have attending Margaret Collins Stoop and Allen Brings, the composers of "The Shepherd and the Night Sky" and "A Carol, 'Lead Me to the Sight of Him,'" respectively. Anna M. DeMasi, our gifted accompanist, presented a dynamic underpinning to our performance.
We would like to thank Nancy Crevier and The Newtown Bee for their continued support. Our ticket takers Jana Emmerthal and her daughter Molly Emmerthal did great work for us once again and Miracle Graphics of Bethel contributed tremendously in designing and printing our program. Thanks also go to Peter and Andrea Andrew, and their son, Gregory, for welcoming the choir so graciously at our after-concert get together. We also thank the members of the choir, and especially Clive Beddoe-Stephens, who moved our musical equipment. Finally, we must thank my husband, Kenneth. As usual, Kenneth lent his computer expertise, his patience, and his muscle wherever it was needed. The Newtown Choral Society, which is in its 22nd year, will begin rehearsals for its spring concert in January. We are a nonaudition choir and welcome new members from all area towns and have openings in all voices. If it is your time to raise your voice in song in a supportive environment, contact me at 426-3769 or lel-choir@se-ltd.com if you would like to discuss joining the Newtown Choral Society. We perform two concerts a year, sing at local events and weddings, and practice Wednesday evenings at the Newtown Middle School.
