Welcome New & Old Friends!
Yes, there have been some negative economic numbers in the news, but do keep in mind that there's lots of interesting things going on around locally. Remember to shop close to home for the holidays whenever you can! There's still time for "Miracles" at our shop so do stop by if you need anything. You could also do a quick re-order of printing or some business gifts for a last minute 2008 business expense for tax purposes...! Thank you to everyone who came to our networking lunch Tues, Dec 2nd at Cafe Little Europa. Manuela Young, the owner/chef, had opened the restaurant just for us (thank you so much!!) and I'm proud to say that we filled it! Good food, lots of business cards being passed around, an interesting speaker - and for the first time in months it wasn't raining during our meeting! If you didn't make it this time, join us December 16th, noon, at Cafe Little Europa (details below) in Brookfield - don't eat alone at your desk! All are welcome, and remember 12/16 is networking fan Kevin Doherty's birthday!

Yes! This time YOU should come! Yum Yum! Don't eat alone, we are way more fun than a drive-thru lunch! Good food & new friends.
And now a word from our President, Kevin:
"Thanks again for all those that attended our last meeting on the 2nd, and thanks to Judith Pennington from Wachovia for a great presentation........
Once again it was an amazing success with 21+ attendees..... The attendee list will remain anonymous..... you know who you are!!!
Please join us again this coming Tuesday December 16th @ 12 noon at Cafe Little Europa, (about a mile north of Costco on rt. 7 in Brookfield, Brown Chateau on right, plenty of parking in back). Hopefully we will have the fireplace going! I will bring wood........
This meeting will have a holiday feel as we ask all attending to bring along an inexpensive grab bag gift so we can exchange gifts [if you like, not required! - Sarah B]. We will be having a buffet with a main dish and sandwiches and also a great huge salad. This should help us eat and run sooner... Lunch will be a flat fee of 12.00 plus beverage. [so we won't torture the waitstaff with over 20 separate checks! eek! -Sarah B]
Please feel free to bring a guest........and please let me know if you do plan on attending so we have an approximate head count.
