WINNER!!Who was more excited, our prize-winner, Nancy Riddle of Davis & Hoyt Realtors, or us? Our first drawing attracted over 50 entries!! We collected business cards at the fall tradeshows and our lucky winner chose to use her 500 FREE business card size magnets to promote her husband's brand new business. Now that's love. Nancy was kind enough to pose (with her very nice looking winnings!) for a photo in Miracle's lobby November 30, 2006. The real prize is the new and repeat business those magnets will bring in! Full color business card size magnets are only 20 cents each at a 500 quantity and the price drops nicely at larger quantities. What a bargain!

November 30th: Brookfield
Chamber holiday "Business Gathering" at Franco's Ristorante, 5:30-8pm.
Sponsored by Charter Funding. This was nice, calm little excuse to eat really
nice chicken parmesan and sample some sumptuous red wine. Had a nice time with
you Joan & Susan! Thanks Franco!November 16th: Greater Danbury
Chamber's Business After Business Tradeshow (60+ exhibitors including
DBE & yours truly ~ Sarah Becker). Held at The Ethan Allen Hotel,
with live music, 3-7 pm. Oh it rained soooo hard! But that did not dampen the
spirits of this annual tradition. I had a lovely time catching up with people I
haven't seen in years and those I see every day ...and giving out our latest
Miracle imprinted pens! The olive green spiral ones were very popular, however
the pink/silver ones were flavored by the ladies (and a very nice gentleman who
asked for one for his wife, how sweet!). The problem with this event is that
the most interesting people are often the ones stuck at a booth, so I'm afraid
I left mine to meet them. Perhaps this event should have a short networking
reception before or after the tradeshow so those with tables can be free to
mingle. Just a thought - and remember you read it here first!PS. Of course you may stop by Miracle for your free pen if you didn't get one already!
November 18th: Well attended silent auction & vendor show, a first-time event for Stadley Rough Elementary School, Danbury. Event was Sat, 10 - 4pm at (my son) Oliver's school. Miracle donated a BIG gift certificate, can't wait to see who comes in with that! There were so many items donated for this event by local companies! ...and a raffle for a huge outdoor grill. Vendor tables were lined up around the entire gym. Perfect for early holiday shopping, this will be a huge event next year if it gets any bigger. Most auction items went for MORE than the suggested value in a frenzy of crowded bidding, complete with people hanging over the bid sheets of their favorite items. Such fun. Attendance was enhanced by a good use of outdoor "yard" signs around the area. (Remember, Miracle can make signs for your next event, election or job site location!) Big thank you to all who volunteered to help the school raise money for such needed items as new stage curtains.
November 23: Kellie M.G. had her baby!!!!!!!!! On Thanksgiving!!!! :-) And she had time to send out a stylish Thanksgiving letter which included a gift of a sheet of real postage stamps with a photo of one of her McCaffrey Realty signs on each one! Wow! Organized & so creative! We love you Kellie! Come back to visit soon.
Nov 23, 2006. My family & I took a bus to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade - in the rain. What a wet morning, followed by nice warm turkey. Miracle designer, Italo, decided to work turkey-day morning to help our client (a restaurant) launch its new menu in time for Black Friday. Thanks again Italo! So dedicated... or... was he hiding from the cooking frenzy in the kitchen?

It was taken October 26, 2006 as The American Red Cross of Western CT celebrated 100 years of service with a reception at Tarrywile Mansion.
