The First Annual Mother's Day Brunch in support of Christmas Exchange and Lifetime Networks Ottawa, proved to be a great success raising close to $8,000 for the two charities. The event was fully booked with over 200 guests attending, who enjoyed a full brunch put on by event host Dave Smith and his crew, including his wife Darlene and daughter Sharon.

A good time was had by all who attended, including the children who enjoyed the Shriners Klowns and a variety of activities in the 'Kids' Room', allowing their parents to sit and enjoy another cup of coffee. Thirty-one items ranging from gift certificates, to flower arrangements and jewellery were part of a ticket auction adding to the day's entertainment and proceeds.
