HDMen is a network of men connected to each other by common interests, ideas, talents and needs. Simply living life well in relationship with other men becomes the launching pad for personal growth, fellowship, discipleship and lots of fun.
There are plenty of new ways to plug in this month and don't forget to place HDMen Day, April 26 on your schedule.

 "In His Grip" Golf Invitational Friday, May 30
Vanderbilt Legends Club
Registration for the tournament opens Sunday, March 16 on the church campus and at the "In His Grip" Website. Limited to the first 32 foursomes! Invite someone to play who loves golf!
$95 per golfer or $380 per foursome. Golf package includes a lunch, green fees, driving range, on-course beverages and a player gift. The golf tournament is a scramble format.
Schedule:
6:30 a.m. - Registration begins
7:15 a.m. - Short Game Golf Clinic
8 a.m. - Shotgun start
1 p.m. - Lunch will be served

 Action Profile - Mark Forst "Hunting and Fishing"
A lot of my friends call me "Stew" because I like to cook. I started hunting and fishing as a young boy with my dad and brothers. Over the years, we have created many wonderful memories to share with our children of great times in the field and on the water.
We are putting together an HDMen group for men who love "The Great Outdoors." Our first task is to plan some hunting and fishing trips to area streams, lakes and woods. We plan to build friendships and invite family and friends on the journey with us. We will encourage each other and share the good news as we go along. I look forward to meeting you. - Mark Forst

 Running with a Greater Purpose!This year's County Music Half and Full Marathon means a lot more to some of the guys in the HDMen Running Group than just finishing or posting a good time.
They are helping raise money for children impacted by AIDS in Africa through Team World Vision. If you would like to run for a greater cause or just get in shape, join these guys on Saturday mornings. Details.

 Quest profile: Eric Nordoff  When a group of guys accomplish a task together, a moment of truth seems to finds its way into the conversation. This is what Comrades In Motion is all about-strengthening friendships through character-building endeavors by creating environments where the art of masculine friendship can be reclaimed.
Firearm training, feeding the homeless and auto maintenance classes are just some of the projects designed to interest, educate and inspire men from all walks of life. Not only do we develop better friendships, but we better our community. If you strive to become a better husband, father, friend and man, then this program is for you. - Eric Nordoff

 Father/Son Event for 4th and 5th grade
Join us Saturday, April 19 from 8:30-11:30am, for a father/son event like no other!
This high-energy morning features dads and their respective 4th and 5th grade sons at the forefront of the action -- leading them in exciting challenges testing dads' strength, smarts and ability to work as a team. We'll start the morning with a hearty breakfast, move on to some father/son competition and finish the morning off by serving together. Registration is only $5 per person. Contact Derek Jones here. |
