When was the last time you were invited on an adventure?

I still remember the adrenaline rush as a young boy when my father would slip into my room well before sunrise on a Saturday morning and whisper in my ear, "Ready to get up and go fishing?" I would shoot straight up in bed, jump into my clothes and run out the door ready to catch the biggest largemouth bass on the planet!

At the beginning of this new year your heavenly father is whispering into your ear, "Ready for an adventure?"

Great journeys are almost always made with a group of friends; Think Fellowship of the Ring in the movie Lord of the Rings. HDMen is all about creating and experiencing adventures with other guys. Take a look below at all the cool things going on and make a move.

Baraka Climbing Adventures

Barak Bruerd is an international adventurer with climbing experiences in Thailand and Cambodia. Two years co-leading weekend climbing groups in Cambodia gave him a love for the sport. He gained experience in teaching and safety by working among other climbing guides certified by the prestigious American Mountain Guide Association.

During his time in SE Asia, Barak served with a non-profit organization, overseeing community development operations for Cambodia while working in rural villages sharing the gospel and implementing water and agriculture programming.

Barak has been living in Spring Hill, TN with his family since February 2007. Working with a nonprofit called Blood:Water Mission, Barak is the Programs Director and travels frequently to Africa to assess water and AIDS activities funded by the organization.

Father - Daughter Summit

From a daughter:

"The Summit was so special because of the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with my dad. (I have seven other siblings) We wrote letters to tell each other how we feel; lots of times we don't share our feelings. It made me feel so good to hear how much my daddy loves me. Every girl should have the chance to hear how her dad feels about her." Kaeleigh Holt, 16 years old

The Weather Channel is Coming!

There's a new HD Channel coming to HDMen...The Weather Channel. Programs on this channel will provide help and support through the tough times and storms of life that inevitably come our way. Keep a watch out for this new channel launching soon.
