Greetings!

As we move into the final week of December each year, we often wonder where the year has gone, how quickly it has passed and what we did or did not accomplish.

The end of each year finds us thinking about holidays, gifts, parties and friends, as well as the closing out of another business year. The end of the year is a time to look back on the previous year and look forward to the next.

Take the time over the next week or so to reflect on your past year accomplishments and chart out your personal and business goals for 2008.

Happy holidays and a happy new year to you.

End of Year Thoughts

As we move into the final week of December each year, we often wonder where the year has gone, how quickly it has passed and what we did or did not accomplish.  The end of each year finds us thinking about holidays, gifts, parties and friends, as well as the closing out of another business year. The end of the year is a time to look back on the previous year and look forward to the next.

Inventory Your Accomplishments:
And while reflecting on the past year, it is an excellent time to remember and to give thanks for the great things that happened in your work-life and personal life.... And to build on all of the positive things that YOU accomplished this past year and carry that positive momentum into next year.

Learn From Past Mistakes:
The end of the year is the perfect time to think about what you would like to do different in the next year.   Now is a very good time to look at the lessons learned from any mistakes that you might have made and apply those lessons in the coming year.

Set Your Goals for 2008:
The end of the year is also the best time to review and update the elements of your personal development plan; set your personal development goals for the new year and develop and commit to an action plan to achieve the goals.

Rest and Rejuvenate:
And finally, set aside some time for yourself during the Holidays to help rejuvenate, re-energize and re-focus for the new year at work and at home. Start the new year with an arsenal filled with energy and enthusiasm supported by a clear vision of what and where you want to be in your career life and personal life.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and happy new year.
