Greetings!
Great news for California! In a 4-3 decision, the justices rule that people have a fundamental 'right to marry' the person of their choice and that gender restrictions violate the state Constitution's equal protection guarantee. Click here to read more. Ellen DeGeneres and her partner, Portia de Rossi, plan to take advantage of this ruling and will marry.
Hopefully this ruling will have a trickle down affect on the other states. |

"I moved to Salem in April 2007. I love the ocean and looking for agates on the coast. I like movies, reading, playing cards, and having fun. I am in good health and love animals. I have one female shih-tzu. I also like to golf, bowl, and workout."

OK so I'm not perfect. The last community auction was scheduled for June 8th - the mini-auction on May 11th was just a fill in. A couple groups were saving things for the June auction as they would make fine Father's Day gifts. And yes, the tables for 25 & 50 cents will be at the last auction with maybe a $1 & $2 tables. It all depends what the groups bring and what is donated. | |
