& Orange Blossom Honey

Produced by a cooperative of small beekeepers near Mount Etna in eastern Sicily, Dolce Alveare Orange Blossom Honey and Lemon Blossom Honey stand out for their remarkably fresh, clean taste. Their citrusy punch pairs perfectly with summertime dishes, desserts and beverages.

Sicilian lemons are prized for their zesty flavor. Similarly, Dolce Alveare Lemon Blossom Honey is bright, with a distinct acidity and tangy finish. Its fragrance is as heady as a grove of lemon trees in full bloom. This is an ideal honey to pair with fresh cheeses. Drizzle over wrapped figs stuffed with chvre or mix with ricotta for a satisfying breakfast. Make a cool mint and honey dressing for summertime fruit salads. The sharp brightness and floral bouquet of this honey will likewise produce magical results in herbal teas.

Whereas the Lemon Blossom Honey is tangy and sharp, Dolce Alveare Orange Blossom Honey is rounded, with buttery notes complementing a sweet finish of tangerine. This is a wonderful honey for summertime grilling glazes. Combine equal portions of this honey and balsamic vinegar as a glaze for seared salmon. Make a modified teriyaki sauce combining Orange Blossom Honey, soy sauce and a dash of yuzu juice. Of course, summer would never be the same without pitchers of iced tea beautifully sweetened with this delightful honey.

Dolce Alveare honeys are among our favorites, but production and availability are limited. Celebrate their return to our shores by ordering both today.
