Rustichella d'Abruzzo has long been our favorite Italian jarred tomato sauce. Elegant, simple, clean - their sauces emphasize the quality of core ingredients (vine ripe, fresh Italian tomatoes and good extra virgin olive oil).

Originally their sauces were only available in 9.5 oz jars -- perfectly portioned for one pound of pasta, but perhaps a little inconvenient when volume is priority.

We are pleased to be the first to offer Rustichella d'Abruzzo 22oz Family Size jars of tomato sauces in three fabulous flavors: Tomato and Basil, Arrabbiata (Spicy), and Olive. We love the new larger format of these rich, velvety sauces - perfect for entertaining a hungry crowd.

• Tomato and Basil: a perfect pairing for any pasta. In addition to tomato pulp (88%) and extra virgin olive oil, a whisper of basil, onion and carrot delivers complexity to its deep tomato flavor. Doubles as the perfect lasagna layer.
• Arrabbiata (Spicy): Meaning "angry" in Italian, this spicy tomato sauce gets a savory boost from crushed red chili peppers, garlic and onion. Best with hearty long cuts like bucatini, fettucine and chitarra.
• Olive: Whole black olives bring toothy texture and a delicate olive pungency to this delicious tomato sauce. We love it on pizza, or stirred throughout a casserole of whole wheat penne rigate pasta.
