I can't wait for you to come in and see our fresh new makeover. For three LONG days we painted, polished and prioritized. The result? Well, you are the ultimate judge, but we love it.
Soothing grey walls, a more open floor plan and a return to the fundamental idea behind Koo de Kir: a calm and soulful retail space to show you my ideas about design, about style, and to share with you my passion for retailing.
The name Koo de Kir is a phonetic rendering of the French expression "Coup de Coeur," literally, "A Strike to the Heart" but idiomatically, "Love at First Sight." The things I choose for my store and my design studio all strike me -- every item is selected by me personally, and (hopefully) stands up to time and changing tastes.
Perhaps this explains why our repertoire ranges from handbags to home design? I shop near and far for the things that strike me -- and not just for a moment, but long term so that you can Give with Style and Live with Style.
I believe in design with staying power and I believe that the gifts you give, those you buy for yourself, and the choices you make for your home, should all be rooted in classic ideas.

What's In The Works at Koo's Design Studio
A recently completed Koo Studio project is featured on our Design Wall at Koo Retail. We will regularly show you what is going on at the studio via this great display tool. The current feature is of a one bedroom condo we worked to convert from outdated and ugly to a luxury guest retreat.
Our scope included a new modern bathroom and kitchen, upgrades to the electrical system, custom furniture, new floors, carpentry and more. We even helped our clients "brand" this penthouse retreat so guests can enjoy a true boutique experience complete with monogrammed robes, slippers and tote bags. Our studio currently has a waiting list for projects, but we are always taking inquiries.

Smokin' Hot Handbags for Equally Hot Ladies

 We've developed quite a following among local fashionistas seeking the season's hottest bags. We are excited about the latest collection which includes the introduction of Jack Rabbit to Koo de Kir. These bags are so hot, we had to wait for Lindsay and Gwyneth to get theirs first. The bags are making their way to us from LA now and are due to arrive in store any day now. Want to be among the first to see them? Email us with your name and number and we'll call you the minute they arrive.
One of our favorite new introductions is a small collection of bio-degradable bags. That's right, made from recycled materials, these bags, once composted, will decompose within 10 years. No, they won't turn to dust in your closet if you leave them unused but it is nice to know that even style can be responsible.
Not to worry Tano fans, we've got new styles for you too. Look out for Charlotte clutches, another new introduction to Koo, in show stopping metallic lizard...and if you want the scoop on our latest bags make sure we get your digits.
