Costume Party

On October 28th before our first wintery snowstorm, Fred Astaire Orange celebrated their 3rd Annual Costume Party. Everyone was dressed up in exceptional costumes. Monica Dalton received first place for her wonderful, super-large Mardi gras costume. Our amazing mimes won second place and despite all of their dancing, still maintained their make-up. We then ended the evening with a great Fred and Ginger cake compliments of Allan Sabel.

What We've Been Up To

Bridal Fair 2011
Over two hundred brides roamed Race Brook Country Club at the Bridal Expo on Nov. 13th as they plan the wedding of their dreams. Great vendors, beautiful fashion show and lots of prizes. Fred Astaire Orange performed a lovely wedding dance demonstration.

Girls Night Out
Fred Astaire Orange performed a swing to "Do you love me?" at the Network of Executive Women's 'Girls Night Out' fundraiser held at the Courtyard Marriott. It was rocking with women in support of the Network. Fred Astaire is looking forward to entertaining some of these women at our studio!

Greetings!

This year had been a fantastic one for Fred Astaire Orange. We're now looking forward to 2012 and have already begun planning some improvements and changes that will help us be the best we can be for you:

* Fred Astaire Orange will attempt to work with at least one coach per month. This will help us with our teaching and technique and it will help us develop students to a more refined level!

* We will attend at least one national competition per year. Our goal is to attend the competition in Orlando during October 2012.

* Our studio will have at least 300 entries at the three regional competitions.

* Our goal is to have at two to three organized evenings out such as:The Edison Ballroom, The Cadillac Ranch and one other play/show or dance event.

Lastly, we need to continue to grow our studio with your help and support. Please continue to spread the good Fred Astaire news and invite guests to come to the studio. We welcome and look forward to meeting your guests.

Have a great Holiday season and to keep your waistline, don't forget to dance with us through the coming months so we can keep you happy and fit!
