GA Day - Where is your heart?
February 4, 2012
10:00am - 2:00pm
F Building - 3rd floor
Advance Registration Requested

GA day is a time for all Girls in Action to participate in various mission related tasks and to fellowship with one another. This year's theme comes from Matthew 6:21; For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

One of the projects the girls will be doing is making 'Love Kits' for the homeless in Jacksonville, FL. These are simply care packages that may contain all or a combination of the following items:

Adult socks, travel size toiletry items (bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, disposable razors, lotions, lip balm), wash cloths, face wipes, ziplock bags, $5 Burger King gift cards, small can openers, small packaged foods that can be opened and eaten without cooking (can tuna, chicken, etc.) small packaged non-perishable snacks (nuts, crackers), rain ponchos, gloves, flashlights, candles, matches or lighters, safety pins or travel size sewing kits, travel first aid kits or band-aids. Please donate or collect as many of these items as you can to bring and pack at GA Day.

More Information

All girls will need to be signed in on the 3rd floor by a parent beginning at 9:00am. Activities will begin at 10:00am and lunch will be served before the girls 'Prayer Walk' the neighborhood around HBC.

This should be a fun and fulfilling day for all involved.

Missionaries serving around the world will share their experiences about what it means to take a step of faith and follow Jesus. Not only will you learn about how God is working in different parts of the world, we also will learn what God is doing right here in our own communities!
