                  YOUTH FAMILY

Youth family - who are they?

You may know that there are literally 100s of students who actively attend the Crossroads and Cornerstone programs each week. But did you know that in addition to the 6 full-time Youth Ministry staff, there are approx. 80 adult volunteers who connect with these students, co-lead small groups and help with the programs, events and trips on their own time? There are also 12 or 13 Fellows (new each year) who help with Youth Ministries in some capacity. To sum it up - "Youth Family" is composed of the full-time Youth Ministry Staff, the Fellows, and the adult Youth Ministry volunteers. In order to provide unity, planning and spiritually prepare these volunteers to serve the youth, they meet for dinner approximately 3 Tuesday evenings each month. We refer to this dinner as "Youth Family Dinner" (Last spring we have had over 85 at some of the dinners!)

Crossroads and Cornerstone Leaders ("Youth Family") are leaders who have a passion to lead middle school and high school students toward full devotion to Christ. They desire to see students reached with the gospel and changed by the love of Christ.

Because of the transition and financial burdens of the church, we are currently rebuilding our scholarship fund. We welcome contributions to our scholarship fund which enables students with difficult financial circumstances to participate in trips and Fusion. Make checks payable to The Falls Church Anglican and note Youth Ministry Scholarship Fund in the Memo line. Thank you.

We especially want to thank all of you, students, parents and leaders for your prayers and support during this challenging season and ask that you would continue to help us in these ways.

Sincerely,
