Cornerstone Dinner Servers Sign Up!

We need 3-4 parents each Sunday night to help serve. Cornerstone dinner from 6-7:15pm. It entails setting up some tables, putting out drinks, collecting money, and passing out food. If you are interested, click the calendar. Password is server. Or you can email.

Crossroads Dinner Servers Sign Up! | 
Arrive at Southgate @ 4:45pm and leave by approx. 6pm. Help to set-up and deliver purchased food (like pizza or Chipotle) and bottled water to the students in their small group rooms. Collect $5 from each student who is eating. Work with approx 4-5 other adult volunteers. (You are sent an email during the week before with detailed instructions.) Greetings!
Parents,
In just a few weeks we will be heading off to Breakaway, a separate weekend for both the high school and middle school. These weekends can be a tremendous way for young people to get connected to God and to the community. We have over 400 people set to go with us for the high school weekend and the middle school is filling up fast.
At this writing, I believe we may have a few (under 10 spots) left for high school, and we are busy with registrations for the middle school weekend.
With the many challenges facing teenagers today, the support and encouragement that these weekends give to them is invaluable. Crossroads and Cornerstone are healthy communities for our young people to grow in good solid relationships that can help them face these challenges. I try to urge parents that the time to get their teenagers connected is now, not when a crisis arises.
The Youth Family of adult volunteers is doing a great job in caring for them on Sunday nights, and it's our hope that these weekends will be a great time to develop their faith. Please pray for these weekends and if so led to help with some scholarship support.

Middle School Breakaway is upon us! The registration and scholarship deadline is February 10th. Register online , grab a flier from the lower narthex, or download a form. After this date, there will be a $25 late registration fee.
