Crossroads Grate Patrol

January's Grate Patrol is Saturday, January 21st. If you were on the list for December's Grate Patrol list, which was cancelled, you will automatically be placed on January's Grate Patrol list. However, if you DO NOT want to attend January's Grate Patrol, please contact Eric Garner immediately. Additionally, there are a limited number of open spots for those who were not on December's list. 7th Graders/Class of 2017!!

Saturday, January 28, we would LOVE for all 7th graders and their 7th grade friends to join Eric, Betsy and the 7th grade leaders for AWESOME Snow Tubing at Liberty Mountain, PA. We will leave at 7:30am from Southgate by bus. We return at 2:30-3:00pm the same day. HOWEVER...THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, JAN 23 AND THIS DEADLINE IS FIRM. The cost is $50. Cornerstone Dinner Servers Sign Up!

We need 3-4 parents each Sunday night to help serve. Cornerstone dinner from 6-7:15pm. It entails setting up some tables, putting out drinks, collecting money, and passing out food. If you are interested, click the calendar. Password is server. Or you can email.

Crossroads Dinner Servers Sign Up!

Arrive at Southgate @ 4:45pm and leave by approx. 6pm. Help to set-up and deliver purchased food (like pizza or Chipotle) and bottled water to the students in their small group rooms. Collect $5 from each student who is eating. Work with approx 4-5 other adult volunteers. (You are sent an email during the week before with detailed instructions.) Maple Ave Falls Church, VA 22046 from 10am to 12pm to work on your strikes or just to have a fun time with your leaders and small group. The cost is $15. Invite some friends to join in the fun! Week for the World

The Youth Ministry is sponsoring a night of TFC's Week for the World! All ages welcome to come hear about God's heart for the homeless and his call to action by loving our neighbors in need. This is part of the month long study on the justice of the Lord.

College Visits | | | Attention Parents of High School Juniors and Seniors!
College Visits are an opportunity for high school upperclassmen to connect with God and Christian fellowship on prospective college campuses. In the coming months Chad Barlow, the coordinator for college ministry at the Falls Church, will take groups of Cornerstone students to visit four major universities in the Commonwealth: James Madison, Christopher Newport, William & Mary, and the University of Virginia. Cornerstone juniors and seniors who attend these trips will stay overnight with Christian college students, meet campus ministry and local church leaders, attend university classes, and take campus tours.

| | | Summer staff offers young men and women the opportunity to grow in Christ while demonstrating faithful living and servant leadership in front of and with the youth of our church. Summer staff is a full-time, paid internship with the youth ministry of The Falls Church that lasts approximately 12 weeks (June 8th-August 13th). The positions are open to all college-aged students who are already in a deep, personal relationship with Christ and are excited to serve youth and come alongside them in their walk with Christ.
