Greetings!
July starts off with a bang ** literally ** with fireworks, BBQs, beach parties and more. Isn't summer great? Not only do we have wonderful summer stuff in Vintages, we are also celebrating our nation's independence by featuring Made in the USA products all month.
In the spirit of summer vacation, we will be closed a few days in July. Closed from Sunday July 15th through Wednesday July 18th. Back to normal hours Thursday July 19th.

Over the years we have continually increased the number of items we offer that are Made in the USA. Many are hand crafted by American artisans both locally and across our great nation. From Los Gatos California to Grand Rapids Michigan to Phoenix Arizona and down to Fort Myers Florida, inventive and creative people call upon their imaginations and artistic skills to conjure up some incredible items. Our Made in America blog highlights these products on a regular basis. Here is a gallery of some of those items.

Any Season is Craft Season
Vintages remains the best source of unique crafting treasures around. Whether you scrapbook, create altered art, delve into mixed media or just love to make your own cards and tags, Vintages is your place. Collection: Antique Wax Seals
Wax seals are both collectible and useful. There is a long and interesting history surrounding these little works of art. Many of them are blank so you can add your own seal, coat of arms or initials. The handles, made from a wide variety of materials and decorated in motifs that can be simple or elaborate, are what attracts most collectors. Read more ...

 We have again partnered with Los Gatos Recreation to offer a class about antiques. This Fall 2012 class will focus on Collecting Vintage Jewelry. It will be held on Tuesday nights, October 9th through November 6th. More information ... Registration starts August 3rd. Set aside the dates and plan to join us. |
