 Greetings!
We will be celebrating Halloween on Monday in our classroom. All children are invited to attend school on that day even if it is not a regular day.
Children are welcome to wear their costumes to school or if they would like, can change into them for the parade. We will be going outside so please be sure they have enough clothing to keep them warm and dry. If costumes are fragile, we can help them change to their regular clothes.
We will have a small party with treats and sing some songs and fingerplays. Our classroom becomes a scary place if too many adults are present and Halloween can be an over stimulating time for young children so we hope to keep the day fairly calm and structured. I know many parents like to share experiences with their children but keeping our classroom just for our children that day helps them enjoy the Halloween fun in a safe and non threatening way.
