Change your clock, change your battery

For the best defense against the devastating effects of a home fire or carbon monoxide poisoning, change smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries annually. When you change your clocks back to standard time on November 6, also change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. After inserting a fresh battery, push the safety test button to ensure they're in proper working condition. Do this monthly. Remind your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
