Brush off the goose bumps, there's lots of fun for everyone at Poplar Grove's Halloween Festival.  Non-scary inflatable rides, carnival games, pony rides, cake-walk and an afternoon hayride are all perfect Fall family activities.  The Kiddie Funhouse entertains tiny tots with a puppet show and storyteller.

            On Saturday, Oct. 30^th, at 6PM it's registration time for the 7PM Costume Contest hosted by 980 the WAAV's On the Beat host, Curtis Wright.   Anyone can enter from lap babies to grandpa.  Some come dressed to kill, others come disguised as washing machines, jelly beans or whatever they find in the attic trunk.   At 2PM on the 30^th, you can bring your dressed up doggy to the Canine Costume Contest.  Winning pups receive gift certificates from Pups Play'n Stay.
