Abundance Foundation's Bake Sale, Pecha Kucha, & Permaculture workshop!
O' Abundant Ones,

We felt so much community support at this year's Briar Chapel 5k (our 4th one!!) and we had a record turnout! Musicians, vendors, runners, dogs and kids alike could not seem to stop smiling! For photos, click here and also here.  Thank you all for supporting renewable energy and local food education and FUN in our community. Now we're gearing up for summer time...there is much fun to be had, starting with a good ole fashioned Bake Sale this Saturday!

Last week began the national Cultivate the Give contest to give non-profits a chance at winning up to $50,000 in funding based on YOUR VOTES. Help us win scholarship funding to bring at-risk youth to Local Food & Renewable Energy Summer Camp...Vote Here

We officially have 5 monthly sustaining donors who we like to call our Ambassadors of Abundance. Will you be the 6th? Read more below, and make your commitment here.

We have a Permaculture Principles and a Eco Tour Guide Workshop coming up fast! Register to reserve your spot before they fill up!

Loss of our dear Volunteer and Friend....
nick We are saddened and a bit shocked to have lost Nick Meyer this week.  Nick first came to our project by attending a solar PV workshop with Rebekah Hren and he helped get panels on our office for the first time.  He started attending movie showings and would pop his head into our office to chat.  He was a brilliant genius that knew more facts than even google.

One day he approached Lyle and said "I'm a dying man and I want to give you all my money".   More....
