Greetings!

Spring is here.  You might be thinking about gardening, or you might be thinking about allergies.  If you do struggle with allergies, Paul can help you, whether it's sniffing, itching or something else.  There's a few new products around now to help, that have been developed after some new research.  They have been very effective for many people just like you.

If you've been sick over winter and haven't totally bounced back yet, then feel free to call by and pick up a recovery pack, with 2 or 3 supplements, depending on whether or not you ended up having to take some antibiotics.  You don't need an appointment to pick things up.  We've noticed a trend with people getting sick, then almost being better, and getting sick again.  If that's you, we can help you stop that cycle and boost your immune system back up.

You may have seen a few stories in the media about headaches.  One was about headache tablets causing headaches.  The other was about how neurofen and voltarin have been linked to strokes.  If you're having headaches, why not come and see us.  We'll get to the underlying cause of your pain, so your headaches will go away long term.  It can be anything from a hormonal imbalance, stress, dietary triggers or a vertebrae that's just not quite sitting in the right place.  Dorn spinal therapy can give you effective and gentle relief that will last.  We always finish with a warm stone back massage.  Paul can help you discover your triggers and arrest the headache cycle.

We've got a few interesting articles for you again this month.  I've also been sent an interesting email about the addictive drug 'ice', which is quite educational and a bit shocking.  If you would like me to forward it to you, just email me, and I'll send it along.

Love and Blessings

Does Your Menstral Cycle Rule Your Life?

For many women, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a burden that can greatly affect their quality of life, impacting their ability to perform regular daily activities, affecting their workplace performance and often making it difficult for them to cope with the demands of everyday life. Unfortunately PMS is often viewed as an unpleasant, but unavoidable, consequence of being a woman. It does not have to be so! Women do not have to live with the monthly annoyance and inconvenience of PMS. If you, or someone you know, is affected by PMS, the good news is that Natural Medicines can help!

Is Toxicity The Reason You Feel Unwell?  Spring is a great time to Detox
It's a good idea to be supervised for a detox to avoid some of the harmful side effects and so you can be sure you are doing a detox safely.  If you're thinking of doing a detox, it's a good idea to get some professional advice from Paul.

Ask yourself these questions:

· Are you often tired or lethargic

Do you regularly suffer from bloating,
diarrhoea, constipation or other digestive disturbances

· Do you get recurrent headaches

· Do you regularly suffer from muscle aches and pains

· Does poor short-term memory and concentration affect your ability to function at work

· Do you have allergies or sensitivities

· Do you suffer from depression, anxiety and/or mood swings

If you answered "Yes" to one or more of these questions, your body may be overburdened by toxicity.

Spring Clean Your Emotions

Spring is a time for clearing out the old, and getting rid of things we don't need or cleaning things that haven't been looked at for a while.  This is a great idea for your home, but also for your emotions.

Sometimes over life we end up carrying quite a bit of excess baggage that weighs us down.  It might be something we did or didn't do.  It might be something we said.  Sometimes in hindsight, we can regret some of the choices we've made and the consequences aren't great.  Regret, resentment and anger are very absorbing emotions and can use up a lot of our energy, leaving us feeling drained.

Here's a few things to try, for a bit of a spring clean of the heart:
1. Forgive yourself for poor choices.
2. Learn from your mistakes, not beat yourself up with them.
3. Say sorry if you need to and are able to.
4. Make restitution if you able to, because your poor choice impacted someone else negatively.
5. Forgive others for their poor choices which may have hurt you - sometimes very badly.  Unforgiveness is like drinking poison, hoping to kill the other person.  We only harm ourselves with unforgiveness.

You might like to have a private ceremony, where you write things down on a piece of paper, things that upset you, then burn them, and make a choice to let them go.  When the memories or negative thoughts come back - which they probably will until you train your mind, tell them, "No! I am free."

If you feel like you'd like to sort out some of your excess baggage and get rid of some of it, consider coming for a chat and we can work through these things together.  This is the sort of thing we can do with coaching.  Let me know if I can help.
