Blender Credit on the Block

Yesterday morning, newswires were signaling the death knell for the 45¢ blender tax credit, but by afternoon Sen. Coburn of Oklahoma couldn't muster enough votes to end it. With election fever on the horizon and our current economic climate, ag subsidies are in an acute, terminal condition.

A Sure Sign Trading in the Pits is also Terminal

CME is looking to sell the iconic CBOT building in Chicago. The current plan will lease floors back to the CBOT to continue trading in the pits.
