34th Annual Destin Seafood Festival on the Destin Harbor

Destin Harbor Boardwalk

 

The 34th Annual Destin Seafood Festival kicks off October 5th and runs through October 7th along the new Destin Harbor Boardwalk. This much loved annual event stretches along Destin Harbor with fresh local seafood, live music on multiple stages, artist and craft vendors, kid's zones, family fun and fireworks show on Saturday evening at 10:00 PM. 

 

The event is free and open to the public. This highly anticipated tradition draws 51,000+ visitors each year and will extend from HarborWalk Village at the foot of the Destin Bridge along the water to Dockside and The Boathouse. The new and expanded venue brings the Destin Seafood Festival back to its roots on the Destin Harbor, showcasing the Charter Fishing and Cruise Fleet. The Seafood Festival will kick off the 64th Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo, which takes place the entire month of October with weigh-ins daily.

 

Festival highlights include original artwork, fresh local seafood, a kids' Mingo Toss, fireworks on Saturday night and lots of free family fun. Sandy the Swordfish mascot will be on hand welcoming festival guests and the "Fishermen's Booth" will have raffles and auction items including fishing trips, water sport packages as well as nautical art.  

 

The 34th Annual Seafood Festival musical entertainment line up includes these award-winning musicians: Heritage, Cheryl Jones & Co., Boukou Groove, Forrest Williams Band, Season Ammons, The U.S. Air Force Band, Wild Blue Country, Cadillac Willy, Coconut Radio featuring Washboard Jackson, The Andy Velo Band, The Sauce Boss, Ron Adams featuring Hell on Heels, Black Eyed Blonde and Louis Prima Jr. and The Witnesses and many talented local performing groups.

Destin Seafood Festival parking will be in the vicinity of the event, Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village, The City of Destin's parking lot, Destin Community Center.

 

Free shuttles and Pedi Cabs will be offered. Shuttles pick up locations are the Destin Commons and The Track.
