July 12, 2011, Destin, FL - Legendary Marine has partnered with boat manufacturer FOUR WINNS of Cadillac, MI and Cox Media to host a series of exciting special summer boating promotions.
The Legendary Marine - FOUR WINNS Demo Day event is slated for Saturday, July 23 from 10 am - 4 pm. A large fleet of quality FOUR WINNS sport boats and cruisers will be in the water for test rides and/or featured on-land displays at the dealership's Destin, FL headquarters, located at the foot of the Mid-Bay Bridge at 4601 Legendary Marina Drive. Customers will have the opportunity to sea trial new 2011 FOUR WINNS boats with a seasoned skipper aboard, plus enjoy free lunch including hot dogs, hamburgers and sodas from noon - 2 pm.
Cox Media will also be on hand to register participants to win exciting prizes during the Demo Day event, including free Mid-Bay Powerboat Rentals, free golf at Regatta Bay, free fishing charters aboard Swoop, and free prize packs from Cox Media. Participants must register on site, but need not be present to win; drawing will be random and held at the dealership at 3 pm.
In addition, Cox Media will also be signing up participants up onsite for the GREAT ESCAPE SCAVENGER HUNT, a major mobile texting marketing campaign that will have participants following clues to find four FOUR WINNS boats located throughout the greater Destin - Ft. Walton Beach area. Each boat will feature a large banner with mobile texting clues which will ultimately lead to the next boat. Once all four FOUR WINNS boats have been located and clues solved, the official entry form will be submitted by the contestant into a prize bin at the final mystery stop. A grand prize winner will be selected at random by Cox Media from these entries and will win a $5000 Dream Vacation they customize themselves, courtesy of FOUR WINNS and Legendary Marine.
