March 2011

• Spring Break Concert Series- Saturday, March 26^th 7 PM-: Come out to HarborWalk Village each Saturday night during March for a live musical performance on the Village Stage. This week will feature funky, reggae blues artist Jay D Clark with local group Chronic Jester. Concerts are free and open to the public. Spring Break or bust!

April 2011

• Kid's Fest at HarborWalk Village- Saturday, April 2^nd- 12pm-4pm:The Destin Harbor's largest outdoor festival just for kids! Hands-on activities, face painting, and entertainment. Plus: fish painting, kite making, sidewalk murals, inflatables, jewelry making, demonstrations from local artisans, kids' karaoke contest and more! Kid's Fest will benefit Children in Crisis, a non-profit organization that provides both short and long term homes to the community's children in need.

• Saturdays in April (9, 16, 23, 30) 7 PM- Spring Concert Series- Come out to HarborWalk Village each Saturday night during April for a live musical performance sponsored by Vision Airlines. Concerts are free and open to the public!

• Easter Bunny Brunch- Sunday, April 24th- 10 AM- 4 PM: The whole family can enjoy this Easter on the Harbor! Start off with an Easter a la carte brunch in the HarborView room from 10-2. Afterwards, head down to the Village for free facepainting and crafts from 2-4. Hop on the Easter Bunny's lap for a fun photo on the Village Stage. The first 50 children will receive their photo for free! Call the Emerald Grande concierge at 850-424-0613 to reserve your place for the Bunny Brunch.

May 2011

• Cinco de Mayo Spring Fest- Sunday, May 1^st - 1 P.M. A vibrant celebration of Latin music, food, dance, and more! Kids will enjoy free face painting and crafts. Cinco de Mayo Spring Fest will benefit the Emerald Coast Autism Society, a non profit organization that seeks to educate and improve the lives of children with Autism in Okaloosa and Walton counties.

• Kentucky Derby Day Saturday, May 7^th- 12 P.M. A Derby Festival on the Harbor - sporting live music, Most Creative Derby Hat Contest and Fashion Show, race day games and family fun. Mix up the best cocktail in our Mint Julep Taste-off and win an awesome prize! Come join in the games or watch the excitement while enjoying your Kentucky beverage of Choice.

• HarborWalk Marina Destin Cobia Tournament Awards Ceremony at Harry T's- Friday, May 6:30 PM

• Memorial Day Concert Celebration Saturday & Sunday, May 28th & 29th:  6 PM - Kick off the summer on the beautiful Destin Harbor! Saturday night, enjoy Ron Adams as Elvis for his Blue Hawaiian show. Sunday enjoy live entertainment on the Village Stage, and a vibrant fireworks display over the Destin Harbor at 8:30pm. Free facepainting and crafts for kids each night from 6-8.

• Operation Inspiration Kick Off- Sunday, May 29^th:

5 p.m. -  Meet & Greet the Artist

6 p.m. - Concert

Each Sunday throughout the summer at HarborWalk Village is Operation Inspiration, a powerful and unique evening of live musical entertainment to give hope and inspiration for all. Operation Inspiration events begin at 5 P.M. with a Meet & Greet with the performing artist and concerts follow at 6. Concerts are free and open to the public.

June 2011

• Thursday June 2^nd: 6:30 P.M.-  Red, White and Blue Celebration - Hero Reunion on the Harbor The Red, White, and Blue Celebration at HarborWalk Village located on the Destin Harbor, is a weekly honoring of a local hero. The celebrations highlight the efforts of people who go above and beyond to better their community.  This week's celebration is a special reunion of heroes honored over the past 2 years. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid's crafts and facepainting, and a WWII replica flyover. The evening is topped off by a spectacular fireworks display over the Destin Harbor.

July 2011

• July 4^th Extravaganza on the Harbor- Thursday- Monday (June 30- July 4) 6 PM

The July 4th Extravaganza on the Harbor will feature 5 days of happenings at 6 p.m. each day.

June 30 - Red, White & Blue Celebration on the Harbor

July 1 - Family Fun Fest

July 2 - Rock the Docks

July 3-Operation Inspiration

July 4 - Hot Dog Eating Contest, and a spectacular fireworks display finale.

• Tropical Smoothie National Flip Flop Day - Friday, June 17^th - more details to come!

The Red, White & Blue Celebration finales with a spectacular fireworks display over the Destin Harbor.
