Award Winning Country and Pop Singer/Songwriters Bring Top Hits To Destin Venues on November 20

Destin, FL - The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) today is proud to announce The Northwest Florida Songwriter's Series event beginning at 1:00 p.m. CST on Saturday, November 20, 2010.  Thirteen talented songwriters from country and pop music will tell stories about their songwriting and perform their music and acoustic sets throughout the day and into the evening at two Northwest Florida venues - the HarborWalk Village in Destin and Grand Boulevard Sandestin Town Center in Miramar Beach.

These award-winning songwriters are a who's who of songwriters of country music and have written for and collaborated with such stars as Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Vince Gill and many, many more. The songwriters will entertain audiences with their collective talents for three shows at the two locations.

The event is free and open to the public and sponsored by FRLA's "Back to the Beach - Fall Back into Summer" marketing campaign established to speed the economic recovery for Florida's hospitality industry in Northwest Florida. Based in Nashville, these musicians are on the leading edge of the music industry with many of their chart-topping hits achieving the notoriety of being Grammy, Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music (ACM) Award nominees and winners.
