Sunjata Kamalenya is the story of a boy who is to be the greatest king of his people and his loving mother, who must help him to first overcome the adversity of a world of sorcery. McCarter Theatre's education team has created an experience in which audience members are very much a part of the play, taking on various roles and helping to create the magical world of medieval Mali through music, dance and theatricality. If you're in the room, you're in the show!

Teacher Workshop: Healthy Human Body and Dental Health

Discover the stuff you're really made out of - anatomy for young children and incorporating healthy habits into your classroom. It's never too early to teach the importance of eating right and taking good care of your body. Dr. Kevin Gyrunia will be joining us to discuss stress management and posture and its affects in the classroom. Remember, a healthy life is a happy life!
