Feel the Latin beat and make some rhythms of your own during this Venezuelan Drum Festival. Make a drum out of recycled materials, bring a drum from home or simply bang on the floor and be a part of the biggest drum circle this area has ever seen. You'll also learn how to dance the Joropo.

Celebrate the ultimate international event with some family-friendly, fun-filled activities throughout the Museum. We'll have sack races, ring tosses, diaper derbies, hockey shoot-outs and much more. Plus, you'll get to make your very own Olympic torch. From Vancouver to Cherry Hill, let the games begin!

The beauty and mystique of the Far East comes to South Jersey! Museum-goers will get a glimpse of the colorful, traditional clothing of India and have a chance to learn songs and dances from Ritu Pandya and her friends from Happiness Within. Children will also get to try their hands at Mandala, the colorful art of sandpainting, as well as take part in a yoga workshop.
Strega Nona

The Discovery Theatre presents Strega Nona, the story of a Grandmother Witch who helps the people of her little Italian village with her magical spells. In addition to this live theatre presentation, you'll have the opportunity to paint a Museum ceiling tile in the style of Italian painter Michelangelo. 
 

Calling all Girl Scouts: Spend your cookie money wisely!
 

Girl Scout Overnights are a unique way to complete workshops for specific Try-Its, play in the museum, and experience a "Camp-In" in an exciting environment! Girls will be given a chance to complete four activities to earn their Art to Wear Try-It with their troop as well as explore and play in the Museum! 
 

Overnights are scheduled for one Friday a month beginning at 7:30 PM and ending at 8:00 AM the following Saturday.
